April Activity Message

Greetings and Happy April!
Spring is here! Spring is the season between winter and summer when the weather becomes warmer, snow begins to melt, cold winds turn into cool breezes and the green buds appear on trees. Spring is a time for new beginnings. A time to get outside and enjoy the fresh air!

The first week of April starts with Easter on Sunday April 9th. There will be a chocolate Easter Jar Guess (winner gets all) Monday April 3rd at 12pm in the dining room. Miranda will bring the Easter Chocolate Jar for everyone to make a guess. An Easter Treat Cart will be coming around Thursday April 6th. As well at 2:15pm there will be entertainment with Gary Munn in the dining room. Good Friday a church service will be held at 10:30am in the Chapel. A special Easter meal will be served Easter Sunday. Wishing Everyone a Happy Easter!

Outings in April will be to the Stanley Park Mall, Walmart , and to the Mandarin Restaurant .

April’s Birthday Party Celebration is Tuesday April 11th with the entertainer Gary Broderick at 2:15pm in the dinning room. Happy Birthday to everyone born in April!

This month we have two speakers that will be visiting. Wednesday April 12th Mike
Morrice from the Green Party will be coming in to speak at 3pm in the Activity Room. Wednesday April 19th Susan the Genealogist will be coming at 2pm to speak in the Activity Room.

The Food Meeting will be held Wednesday April 12th at 2pm in the Activity Room. The Resident Meeting will be held Thursday April 20th in the Activity Room. Looking
forward to hearing from everyone that attends.

Thursday April 13th from 11am to 3pm we have a clothing vendor. Ruth’s Fashion Boutique! Tuesday April 25th from 11am to 2pm we have a jewelry vendor. Suzanne’s Jewelry! Please drop by. Everyone Welcome!
