May Activity Message 2024

The arrival of May brings a season filled with sunshine and warmth that beckons us outdoors. Mark your calendars as there are many trips that are planned in May – Elora Elements Casino Grand River/lunch, Anna Mae’s Bakery and Restaurant for lunch, a shopping spree to Giant Tiger, St. Jacob’s Market/lunch and a scenic country drive. Do not miss the fun!

Mother’s Day is a special day to celebrate and honor the amazing mother’s at Conestoga Lodge. A Mother’s Day Tea will be held along with another Mother’s Day afternoon special with Sheryl Walsh. A delicious Mother’s Day Brunch is planned, and to conclude the celebration a small gift to all the ladies to end their special day.

Community Support Connections will start its SMART gentle exercise and Falls Prevention exercises every Monday and Wednesday. Look at your calendar for new times. All are welcome to attend.

Suzanne’s Jewelry is happening on May 21st, from 11am to 2pm. See this beautiful collection. A perfect opportunity to find something for yourself or a loved one.

Show N Share is an afternoon where everyone is invited to bring their unique craft(s), artwork, or any special item that holds meaning. This is a chance to share your talent, interests and stories with each other.

The upcoming Food Meeting is May 1st and the Resident Council Meeting is May 16th, in the afternoon. These meetings are open to everyone.

On May 14th John, Hayley and Lesley will be coming to entertain at May birthday party. Warmest wishes to everyone celebrating their birthday in May.

Music this month starts off with a new entertainer Jack Kalenderian, a special performance will be on Saturday May 4th By Derek Byrne. Look at the calendar for more entertainment through out the month.

The Horticulture Group will continue in the month of May and the following warmer months offering opportunity for residents to come together and share their knowledge and passion for plants. This group welcomes everyone!
