Weekly Activities: Monday November 4th- Friday November 8th

Monday November 4th- Join us in the 3rd floor Café at 9:30 for Muffin Monday! At 10:45 head to the 1st floor activity room for an energizing exercise class. At 1:00 join us for a movie in the 3rd floor café. There will be two shopping trips to Sunrise Walmart at 1:30. Don’t forget to sign up for the shopping trips if you would like to come along.

Tuesday November 5th- Every Tuesday at Conestoga Lodge we play a big game of Giant Crossword Puzzles! Meet in the 3rd floor café to play with us or enjoy a fresh cookie. At 10:45 get your body moving with SMART exercises in the 1st floor Activity room. Wyatt Ladd will be in for musical entertainment at 2:00 followed by visits from our furry dog friends at 5:45!

Wednesday November 6th- Join us in the Dining Room at 9:30 to get your annual flu shot followed by Word Search Races at 9:30 in the 3rd floor Café. At 10:30 there will be a hymn sing in the 1st floor Chapel. At 1:30 come to the 3rd floor café to knit the afternoon away! At 2:30 we will have our first Christmas choir practice! Meet us in the 3rd floor café if you would like to sing a long! At 7:00 enjoy inspirational stories with a Cup of Tea.

Thursday November 7th- Every Thursday morning we come around with our travelling tuck cart! We sell everything from soap to chocolate bars! At 10:45 make your way to the 1st Floor Activity Room for SMART exercises. We will be making a trip to the Elora Raceway Casino at 10:45! Don’t forget to sign up in the green binder by the front desk if you would like to come along.

Friday November 8th- Come and solve the problems of the world at our weekly newspaper reading! We will bring the coffee and donuts. At 10:30 head to the 3rd floor Café for a Church service! They will be doing a presentation on a new addition of the Bible. At 1:30 enjoy a game of Euchre in the 3rd floor café or head to the 1st floor Activity Room for exercises at 2:15. Have a great weekend!

Monday October 21st- Today is voting day for the federal election. There will be a voting station set up in the 3rd floor café from 9:00- 12:30. At 10:45 make your way to the 1st floor activity room for some energizing exercises! After lunch there will be a movie in the 3rd floor café at 1:00!

Tuesday October 22nd- Make your way to the 3rd floor Café for a fresh cookie and a game of Giant Crossword Puzzles followed by SMART exercises at 10:45. At 1:30 pamper yourself with a manicure in the Activity office or make waffles at 2:30 in the 3rd floor café! Our friendly dog friends will be in for a visit at 5:45!

Wednesday October 23rd- Wednesdays are for Word Searching at Conestoga Lodge! Join us in the Café at 9:30 to play or enjoy a scone. At 10:30 there will be a Baptist Church service in the 1st floor chapel. At 1:30 make your way to the 3rd floor Café to Sit-N-Knit! You do not have to be a knitter to join in on the fun! At 2:30 we will carve some spooky pumpkins for Halloween! At 7:00 join us in the 3rd floor Café for inspiring stories and a hot cup of tea!

Thursday October 24th- Every Thursday morning we come door to door with the Tuck Cart with goodies for sale! At 10:45 get energized with SMART exercises in the 1st floor Activity Room. At 1:30 the Kitchener Public Library will be in if you would like to rent books or movies. Bluegrass Café will be in at 2:30 for musical entertainment followed by Bingo at 3:00!

Friday October 25th- Come and solve the problems of the world at our weekly newspaper reading! We will bring the coffee and donuts! At 10:30 make your way to the 1st floor Chapel to enjoy a Catholic church service. After Lunch get ready to golf! Wii golf that is! Meet us in the 1st floor lounge at 1:30 to play. There will be a SMART exercise class at 2:15 in the 1st floor Activity Room.

Tuesday October 15th- We hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend! Every Tuesday morning at Conestoga Lodge we like to start off the day with a big game of Giant Crossword puzzles at 9:30 in the 3rd floor café. There will be fresh cookies to enjoy! At 10:45 make your way to the 1st floor Activity Room for SMART exercises to energize the body. At 2:00 Peter Baumann will be in for an Oktoberfest celebration! We hope you love to chicken dance! Pet visits will take place at 5:45.

Wednesday October 16th- Wednesdays are for word searches! Join us in the 3rd floor café to search the morning away followed by a church service with Ken Loukas in the 1st floor chapel at 10:30. After lunch we will meet in the 3rd floor café for our Sit-N- Knit program. you do not have to be a knitter to join in on the fun! At 3:00 we will test our minds will a “Smaller Than a Breadbox Game.” At 7:00 make your way to the café for inspiring stories and a cup of tea!

Thursday October 17th- Today is Breast Cancer Awareness Day at Conestoga Lodge. Ribbons and cupcakes will be for sale for donation in the front lobby after lunch. At 9:30 we will be coming door to door with our Travelling tuck cart! We sell snacks and toiletries for your convenience. At 10:45 get your body moving with SMART exercises. At 2:00 Paul Schalm will be in for musical entertainment followed by Bingo at 3:00!

Friday October 18th- Come and solve the problems of the world at our weekly newspaper reading at 9:15 in the 3rd floor café. We will bring the coffee and donuts! At 10:30 make your way to the 1st floor Chapel for a Catholic church service. After lunch we will play a big game of carpet darts, followed by SMART exercises in the 1st floor Activity Room at 2:15!

Wednesday October 9th- Wednesdays are for Word Search Races! Meet us in the 3rd floor café to search the morning away or enjoy a fresh scone! At 10:30 make your way tot he chapel for a church service with Faith Lutheran Church.  Head to the Café at 1:30 to Sit-N-Knit  followed by Smaller Than a Breadbox game at 3:00! Tea and Tales will take place in the Café at 7:00.

Thursday October 10th- Every Thursday the Traveling Tuck Cart comes around with goodies for sale! We sell treats and toiletries. At 10:45 get energized with SMART exercise class. We will be making a trip to the St. Jacobs Farmers Market at 10:45! Sign your name in the green binder by the front desk if you would like to come along! Meet in the 3rd floor Café for a game of Solo at 1:30 followed by waxing at 2:30. Bingo will take place in the Activity room at 3:00!

Friday October 11th- Solve the problems of the world as we read the newspaper and share in discussion. At 10:30 make your way to the chapel for a Catholic Church Service. At 1:30 meet in the Café for a new program called “Hey Google” followed by SMART exercises at 2:15. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend!

At 10:45 make your way to the 1st floor Activity Room for SMART exercises. At 12:00 we will be making a trip to the Landmark theater to see Downton Abbey! Sign up in the green binder by the front desk to come along! Helen Stephens will be in at 2:00 for a Sing-a-long followed by dog visits at 5:45!

Wednesday October 2nd- Wednesdays are for Word Search Races and freshly baked scones! Meet in the 3rd floor Café at 9:30 to search the morning away! At 10:30 head to the Chapel for a church service with Calvin Presbyterian Church. At 1:30 make your way to the 3rd floor Café to Sit-N-Knit , or make a fall craft at 2:45! Tea and Tales will take place at 7:00 in the Café!

Thursday October 3rd- Every Thursday morning the Traveling tuck cart comes door to door! We sell everything from chocolate bars to shampoo. At 10:45 move your body at SMART exercise class. At 2:00 join us in the Café for our October Birthday Celebration! Kim Atkins will be in for musical entertainment! At 3:00 make your way to the Activity room for bingo! Oktoberfest dancers, and Country Boys will be in for some evening entertainment!

Friday October 4th- Solve the problems of the world at our weekly newspaper reading and discussion! At 10:30 head to the Chapel for a Catholic Church service. Adult Coloring will take place in the Café after lunch followed by SMART exercise class at 2:15.

Wednesday September 25th- Wednesdays are for Word Search Races! Make your way to the 3rd floor Cafe to race the morning away or to enjoy a baked scone. At 10:30 there will be a church service with Calvin Presbyterian in the 1st floor Chapel. For our monthly lunch bunch we will be headed to Ana Mae’s in Millbank! At 10:45 get your body moving with SMART exercise class. At 2:00 Bill Speer will be in for musical entertainment followed by Bingo at 3:00!

There will be a Catholic church service at 10:30 in the 1st floor Chapel. At 1:30 make your way to the 3rd floor cafe for a game of euchre or get energized with SMART exercises at 2:15.

After lunch we will be playing a big game of wii bowling in the 1st floor lounge followed by SMART exercises at 2:15! Have a great weekend!

Wednesday September 11th- Wednesdays are for Word Searches! Join us in the 3rd floor café to race the morning away or enjoy a baked scone. At 10:30 there will be a church service with Ken Lukas in the Chapel.If you would like to order Pizza lunch today please sign up in the green binder by the front desk!  In the afternoon, join the Sit-N- Knit club at 1:30 in the Café! You do not need to knit to join in on the fun! At 3:00 we will be having our Resident Food Meeting! All are welcome to come along.

We sell everything from tissues to chocolate bars. SMART exercise class will take place in the 1st floor Activity Room at 10:45. We will be making a trip to Flamboro Casino today! Please sign up in the green binder by the front desk if you would like to come along! At 2:30 we will be heading on an afternoon walk (as long as the weather cooperates) ! Meet us  in the main lobby with your walking shoes on!

Friday September 13th- Solve the problems of the world at our weekly newspaper reading and discussion! We will bring the coffee and donuts! At 10:30 make your way to the Chapel for a Catholic Church service. After lunch we will be playing a game of Wii bowling in the 1st floor lounge followed by SMART exercises at 2:15! Join us in the 3rd floor café to make pressure cooker chocolate cake! Our furry dog friends will be in at 5:45 for a visit in the lobby!

Wednesday September 4th- Wednesdays are for word searching! Come on up to the 3rd floor Café at 9:30 to search the morning away or enjoy a freshly baked scone. At 10:30, Calvin Presbyterian Church will be holding a service in the 1st floor Chapel. All are welcome. At 1:30 join us for Sit-N- Knit as we knit, chat, and enjoy the afternoon!

Thursday September 5th- Every Thursday morning the Travelling Tuck Cart makes its way around! We sell everything from soap to potato chips. At 10:35 get your body moving with SMART Exercise class in the Activity Room. After lunch We will be having a spa day with waxing at 2:00 followed by Manicures at 2:30. Meet us in the Activity Office if you would like some pampering! Bingo will be at 3:00!

Friday September 6th- Solve the problems of the world with us at our weekly newspaper reading! We read a little bit of everything and enjoy coffee and donuts! At 10:30 St. Joseph’s Church will be holding a Catholic service in the Chapel. At 1:30 join us for a game of Euchre or head to the 1st floor lounge to play wii bowling. At 2:15 head to SMART exercises to break a sweat before the weekend!

At 10:45 head to the 1st floor activity room for SMART exercise class. At 2:00 meet in the dining room for Jamming with Greg followed by dog visits at 5:45!

Wednesday September 28th- Wednesdays are for word searches! Head on up to the 3rd floor café to word search the morning away or to enjoy a scone. There will be a church service in the chapel at 10:30. After lunch make your way to the 3rd floor café to Sit-N-Knit or just to chat and have coffee. At 2:30 pamper yourself with a manicure in the Activity Office!

Thursday September 29th- Every Thursday morning the Travelling Tuck Cart comes around with goodies for sale! We sell everything from chocolate bars to tissues. At 10:45 get in the groove with SMART exercise class. After lunch we will be making ice cream sundays in the 3rd floor café followed by bingo at 3:00.

Friday September 30th- Solve the problems of the world with our weekly newspaper reading and discussion at 9:30 in the 3rd floor café . Make your way to the chapel for a Catholic Church service at 10:30. At 1:30 play a game of Euchre or wii bowling or make your way to the Activity Room for exercises at 2:15!
