Activity Events: May 15th-May 19th

Monday May 15th- Come along for a shopping trip to Stanley Park Mall, we have two trips heading over one at 1:15pm and at 1:45pm.

Tuesday May 16th- Don’t forget to wear your purple, as it is Purple for Peace Day!!

Wednesday May 17th- We are going to be exploring Tokyo this month at our Travelogue, come join us in the 3rd floor lounge at 2:00pm.

Thursday May 18th- Paul Schalm will be in to entertain us with his beautiful playing on the piano!!

Friday May 19th- Join us for Stand Up to Falls, this program will be running two times per week: Thursdays at 9:45 and Fridays at 1:30.

Activity Events: May 8th- May 12th

Monday May 8th- We will be getting creative with our painting skills at Crafty Corners, we will be painting some trinket boxes, join us at 2:30pm in the Cafe.

Tuesday May 9th- Let’s get experimental as we play around with some mad science experiments today. This will start at 2:00pm in the Cafe.

Wednesday May 10th- A few more weeks until we can do some outdoor gardening, until then we will have to do it indoors. The indoor gardening will begin at 2:00pm in the Cafe.

Thursday May 11th- Let’s celebrate all the moms with a Mother’s Day tea.

Friday May 12th- Smart exercises begins at 2:15pm, let’s all get our hearts pumping and our bodies moving.

Activity Events: May 1st- May 5th

Monday May 1st- Get those muscles working at our Gentle Exercise class. This starts at 10:30am in the 1st floor activity room.

Tuesday May 2nd- Warm up those vocal chords for a sing-a-long with Helen Stephens, she will be playing the piano from 2:30-3:30pm in the Cafe.

Wednesday May 3rd- We will be looking at some Historic Buildings from around Waterloo Region, this will start at 2:30pm in the 3rd Floor lounge.

Thursday May 4th- It is time for our first country drive of the season, we will be heading out and looking out over the countryside.

Friday May 5th- Come and join us for some Coffee and Tim Bits as we conquer all the troubles of the world at our discussion.

Activity Events: April 24th- April 28th

Monday April 24th- We will be getting creative at Crafty Corners- this time we will be making some lovely spring door decorations.

Tuesday April 25th- We are heading out to Wellesley and going to enjoy some delicious eats from Schmidtsville Restaurant!!

Wednesday April 26th- It’s YELLOW day!! We are dressing up in yellow for Cancer Awareness month.

Thursday April 27th- The boys from The Greenwood Hill Band will be back to play at our Bluegrass Cafe. This event starts at 7:30pm.

Friday April 28th- Come out and join us at Sit N Knit we love to chit chat while making different various clothing items.

Activity Events: April 17th- April 21st

Monday April 17th- Get signed up, we will be heading over to Stanley Park Mall for some shopping. There are two trips 1:15 & 1:45pm.

Tuesday April 18th- It’s crazy hat day!! Come on in with your favourite cookiest hat!

Wednesday April 19th- We will be heading over to Jerusalem for our monthly Travelogue, please join us in our 3rd floor lounge at 2:00pm.

Thursday April 20th- We are so lucky to have our own musician Greg living with us. He will be playing his guitar for everyone. This starts at 2:00pm in the Cafe.

Friday April 21st- Put on your thinking caps, we will be discussing different topics from around the world while drinking our favourite Tim Horton’s Cofee.

Activity Events April 10th-April 14th

Monday April 10th- Get creative at Crafty Corners, we will be making some Easter cards just in time for Easter!!

Tuesday April 11th- It’s the BLUE JAYS home opener and to celebrate we will be wearing our favourite blue jay gear or the colour blue.

Wednesday April 12th- Join us for some Easter fun; we will be starting off with a Easter egg hunt and later in the day we will be colouring some Easter eggs.

Thursday April 13th- Come out and listen to Paul Schalm as he plays some beautiful music on the piano.

Friday April 14th- GOOD FRIDAY!!

Sunday April 16th- HAPPY EASTER!!

Activity Events April 3rd-7th

April 3rd: Look out we are heading over to Stanley Park Mall. Van departs at 1:15 & 1:45.

April 4th- Get those vocal chords warmed up as we sing-a-long with Keith Tobey.

April 5th- Let’s go back in time and take a look at some historic buildings in Waterloo Region.

April 6th- Michael Toby will be in to share some Hymn stories!!

It is almost that time of year when we dress up in our favourite green and dance a little jig and enjoy some cheer! Our St. Patrick’s Pub day will be held on Thursday March 16th at 2:00pm in the dining room. We encourage everyone to invite family and friends to this fun event (The more the merrier). We will be entertained by Derek Byrne.
