Weekly Activities: Monday October 1st to Friday October 5th

Monday October 1st- Happy first of October! Today at 9:30 we will have freshly baked muffins in the 3rd floor Cafe followed by exercises at 10:30 in the 1st floor activity room. In the afternoon, join us in the 3rd floor cafe to watch a movie, or sign your name on the shopping list at the front desk to go to Sunrise Walmart! The vans will be leaving at 1:15 and 1:45!

Tuesday October 2nd- Every Tuesday there are fresh cookies in the Cafe at 9:30 with a big game of giant Crossword puzzles! Join us for smart exercise class at 10:45! After lunch we will be having a karaoke afternoon with Peter French followed by dog visits at 6:30!

Wednesday October 3rd- Come and word search away with us at 9:30 in the 3rd floor cafe, or enjoy a scone and a coffee! At 10:30 enjoy a church service in the 1st floor chapel with Calvin Presbyterian. In the afternoon, knit the afternoon away with us. Weather permitting we will go for a walk to Lakeside Park at 2:00pm!

Thursday Ooctober 4th- In the morning we will come around with our travelling tuck cart with lots of goodies for sale! Exercise class will start at 10:45 in the 1st floor activity room. At 11:45 we will be ordering in KFC lunch for those who would like to purchase their lunch. In the afternoon we will be having Halloween- themed Chocolate Therapy, so don’t forget to bring your sweet tooth! Bingo will be at 3:30 followed by country boys at 6:30!

Friday October 5th- Come and read the newspaper and chat with us at 9:15 in the 3rd floor Cafe! We provide the Coffee and timbits! In the afternoon, join us in the 3rd floor cafe for a game of Euchre. At 3:00 we will be having visits from our friendly dog friend!

Weekly Activities- Monday September 24th to Friday September 28th

Monday September 24th- Join us upstairs in the 3rd floor Cafe for freshly baked muffins at 9:30 followed by exercises at 10:30. In the afternoon, come to the 3rd floor cafe for a movie, or head to Stanley park Mall at 1:15 or 1:45.

Tuesday September 25th- Join our team of residents who love giant crosswords! Meet us upstairs in the 3rd floor Cafe for fresh cookies, and fun. Smart exercise class will be held at 10:45 in the 1st floor activity room, followed by musical entertainment with Pat Murray in the afternoon. Visits from our furry friends will be at 3:00!

Wednesday September 26th- Every Wednesday we do word search races! Come race with us in the 3rd floor cafe at 9:30 to play and enjoy some scones. At 1:30 we will knit the afternoon away, followed by Jamming with Greg at 2:00!

Thursday September 27th- On Thursdays we make our way around with the Glorious travelling tuck cart for all of the sweet tooths in the building! we sell everything from chocolate bars to soap and Kleenex. At 10:45 we will be heading to Anna Maes for our monthly lunch bunch followed by a visit from the Kitchener Public Library. If you would like to rent a book or movie, please join us at 1:30 in the 3rd floor cafe. Sign your name in the green binder by the front desk if you would like a manicure at 3:00!

Friday September 28th- Come and solve the problems of the world with us as we read the weekly news! We chat and enjoy good conversation over a hot cup of coffee. Catholic church service will be held at 10:30 in the first floor chapel. Following lunch, we will have a game of scrabble at 1:30 in the cafe, or wii bowling in the 1st floor lounge. Visits from our pet friends will be at 3:00!

Monday September 10th- Meet us upstairs in the 3rd floor Café for a muffin and a morning coffee at 9:30! Brigette will be teaching exercise class at 10:30 in the 1st floor activity room. After lunch come up to the 3rd floor Café for a movie, or sign up in the green binder to go shopping to Sunrise Walmart at 1:15 or 1:30.

Tuesday September 11th- Join us in the 3rd floor café at 9:30 for a fun filled game of giant crosswords! Exercise class will be held at 10:45 in the 1st floor activity room. In the afternoon we will be celebrating all the September birthdays at Conestoga lodge at 2:30. Kieth Tobey will be in to perform for us and we will be having cake! Crafty corners will be at 3:00 in the 3rd floor Café and we will be making Fall door décor!

Wednesday September 12th- Search away with us in our weekly word search activity at 9:30 in the 3rd floor café or head to a church service with Ken Lucas at 10:30. In the afternoon we will be flying to Hawaii for our arm chair travels so get ready to feel like you are in paradise! Sit and knit will be held in the café at 1:30.

Thursday September 13th- Every Thursday we come door to door with goodies for sale on our travelling tuck cart! Meet in the 1st floor activity room at 10:45 for a burst of energy at smart exercise class. In the afternoon we will have our resident meeting at 3:00 in the Café, followed by bingo with Ryan at 3:30.

Friday September 14th- Come and see what is new in the news this week at our Tim Horton’s Coffee activity at 9:15. Catholic church will be held at 10:30 in the 1st floor chapel. After lunch join us in the café for a game of Euchre or in the 1st floor lounge for a game of wii bowling! Smart exercises will be at 2:15 followed by dog visits at 3:00. Have a great weekend!

Tuesday September 4th- Come up to the third floor Café to play a giant game of Giant Crosswords with a freshly baked cookie. At 10:30 head down to the 1st floor activity room for exercise class to get the body moving. In the afternoon, join us in the dining room for a sing-a-long with Helen Stephens at 2:00, Dog visits at 6:30, or Tea and Tales at 7:30.

Wednesday September 5th- Come to the third floor café to word search away at 9:30. Have a fresh scone before heading down for a church service at 10:30. After lunch we will knit away our afternoon followed by a lovely walk to Lakeside Park. Meet in the lobby at 2:00 if you would like to attend!

Thursday September 6th- Every Thursday we come door to door with our travelling tuck cart with lots of goodies for purchase followed by exercises at 10:30.If you would like to order Chinese food for lunch please sign up in the green binder or talk to Brigette or Carling! Euchre will be held in the 3rd floor café.

Friday September 7th- Come and solve the problems of the world in our weekly newspaper reading and discussion at 9:15 in the 3rd floor Café! There will be a catholic church service at 10:30 in the Chapel. After lunch join us in the 1st floor activity room for a game of indoor lawn darts or wii bowling on the 1st floor followed by exercises at 2:15!

Weekly Activities: Monday August 27- Friday august 31st

Monday August 27th- Please join us up in the 3rd floor café for a freshly baked muffin at 9:30 followed by exercise class at 10:30 in the 1st floor activity room. At 1:00 we will be playing the film called “Heaven is for Real” followed by manicures at 3:00 in the 3rd floor activity office.

Tuesday August 28th- Put your mind to the test with our weekly game of Giant Crosswords upstairs at 9:30 in the 3rd floor Café. Get your body moving with Smart Exercise class at 10:30 in the 1st floor activity room. In the afternoon we will be coloring our cares away at 1:30 followed by scrabble and dog visits at 3:00 and 6:30.

Wednesday August 29th- Wednesdays are for Word Search Races! Come and have a fresh scone and search with us in the 3rd floor café at 9:30 followed by a Presbyterian church service at 10:30 in the 1st floor Chapel. In the afternoon we will knit the afternoon away (we have plenty of yarn and needles) at 1:30 followed by an afternoon walk weather permitting!

Thursday August 30th- Every Thursday morning we come around with our travelling tuck cart with lots of goodies for sale followed by smart exercises to get our bodies energized for the day. In the afternoon we will making a special drinks under the pergola at 3:15 followed by bingo at 3:30.

Friday August 31st- Join us for our weekly newspaper reading and solving the problems of the world! We will meet at 9:15 in the café followed by catholic church service in the chapel at 10:30. In the afternoon we will have a game of indoor lawn darts or wii bowling followed by a visit from our furry friend at 3:00!

Monday August 20th- Come up to the 3rd floor café at 9:30 for a delicious freshly baked muffin followed by exercises with Brigette at 10:30. In the afternoon, there will be two shopping trips to Stanley Park Mall! Sign up in the green binder by the front desk if you would like to attend.

Tuesday August 21st- Enjoy a big game of giant crosswords accompanied by a fresh cookie! At 10:45 we we will be heading to Flamborough Casino for our monthly lunch bunch! We will have a visit from our furry friends at 6:30.

Wednesday August 22nd- Wednesdays are for word search races and delicious scones! Head up to the 3rd floor café at 9:30 to search the morning away with us! Head downstairs to the 1st floor chapel for a Presbyterian church service. At 1:30 bring your needles and yarn upstairs to the 3rd floor café to knit the afternoon away! We will be heading out for an afternoon walk at 3:00.

Thursday August 23rd- We will start the day off right by coming door to door with our traveling tuck cart followed by exercises at 10:30. We will be making a trip to St. Jacobs Market at 10:45! Don’t forget to sign your name in the green binder by the front desk if you are interested in coming along. In the afternoon we will have euchre at 3:00 followed by bingo at 3:30.

Friday August 24th- Come and enjoy coffee and timbits with us in the 3rd floor café as we catch up with the news! Catholic church service will be held at 10:30 in the 1st floor chapel followed by carpet darts and exercises in the afternoon!

Weekly Activities: Monday August 13th to Friday august 17th

Monday August 13th- If you are feeling like a mid morning snack, join us at 9:30 in the café for a freshly baked muffin followed by exercise class starting at 10:30. In the afternoon we will be putting on a Movie in the Café followed by two trips to Stanley Park Mall for those who need some shopping therapy!

Tuesday August 14th- Join us upstairs in the 3rd floor café for our weekly game of giant crosswords and Fresh cookies at 9:30! At 10:30, come and get active with us in exercise class at 10:30 in the 1st floor activity room. In the afternoon we will be making a craft, followed by ukulele entertainment at 3:00 in the 3rd floor café.

Wednesday August 15th- Come and join us upstairs in the 3rd floor café for our weekly word search races followed by a church service in the 1st floor chapel at 10:30. In the afternoon we will have knitting at 1:30 and making peach preserves at 3:00!

Thursday August 16th- Every Thursday we come around with our travelling tuck cart with goodies for sale followed by exercise class at 10:30. In the afternoon we will be having musical entertainment by Andy Decampos with a special peach dessert! Head down to the 1st floor activity room for bingo at 3:30.

Friday August 17th- Come and solve the problems of the world with our weekly Newspaper and discussion followed by a catholic church service at 10:30. In the afternoon we will be playing a big game of indoor lawn darts or wii bowling followed by dog visits at 3:00!

Tuesday August 7th- Happy Tuesday! We hope everyone had a safe and happy long weekend. Meet us upstairs in the 3rd floor café for our weekly game of Giant crosswords followed by an energizing exercise class at 10:30 in the 1st floor activity room. In the Afternoon, celebrate all of our August birthdays in the dining room at 2:00! There will be musical entertainment performed by Wyatt Ladd!

Wednesday August 8th- Wednesdays are for word search races! Come up to the 3rd floor café to put your mind to the test and enjoy a freshly baked scone followed by a Presbyterian church service at 10:30 in the 1st floor chapel. In the afternoon, you can knit and chat with us at 1:30 or go on an summer walk at 3:00!

Thursday August 9th- Every Thursday morning we come around with our travelling tuck cart filled with goodies! We sell everything from toothpaste to hard candies. At 10:30 head down to the 1st floor activity room to get your body moving in exercise class. After lunch we will have musical entertainment by Paul Schalm in the dining room at 2:00 followed by Bingo with Ryan at 3:00.

Friday August 10th- Solve the problems of the world with our weekly newspaper reading and discussion! We serve coffee and timbits! Roman Catholic church will be held at 10:30 in the chapel. In the afternoon you can join us for wii bowling or carpet darts at 1:30, followed by smart exercises at 2:15, and pet visits at 3:00! Have a great weekend!

Monday July 30th: Every Monday morning we start the day off with a freshly baked muffin at 9:30 in the 3rd floor café! Get your body moving with exercises, starting at 10:30 in the 1st floor activity room. At 1:00 we will be playing a film in the 3rd floor café followed by two shopping trips to Sunrise Walmart at 1:15 and 1:45.

Tuesday July 31st: Every Tuesday we have a big game of Giant Crossword puzzles up in the 3rd floor Café accompanied by some freshly baked cookies! Join us for smart exercises at 10:30 in the 1st floor activity room or for our monthly lunch bunch to crossroads at 10:45. In the evening we will have visits from our furry dog friends!

Wednesday August 1st: Wednesdays are for word search races! Come up to the third floor café to race with us over some delicious scones! Join us for a Presbyterian church service at 10:30 in the 1st floor chapel. In the afternoon we will knit the afternoon away, followed by a walk outside at 3:00.

Thursday August 2nd- Every Thursday we come around with our travelling tuck cart with goodies for sale followed by smart exercise class at 10:30 in the 1st floor activity room. In the afternoon we will have our resident forum meeting at 1:30 followed by an ice cream surprise and a big game of Euchre at 3:00!

Friday August 3rd- If you like keeping up with the news, our weekly newspaper reading is for you! We provide the coffee and donuts and you just bring yourself! At 10:30 we will be having a catholic church service in the 1st floor chapel. In the afternoon we will play a game of scrabble at 1:30, followed by exercises at 2:15!

Weekly Activities: Monday July 23rd- Friday June 28th

Monday July 23rd- Come to the 3rd floor café  for a morning snack of fresh muffins at 9:30! At 10:30 join Brigette for exersize class to get the body moving in the 1st floor activity room. In the afternoon come to the 3rd floor café for a feature-film at 1:00 or sign up to go shopping to Stanley Park Mall! Trips will leave at 1:15 and 1:45!

Tuesday July 24th- Join us upstairs in the 3rd floor café for out giant crossword puzzles and fresh cookies at 9:30! Head down to the 1st floor activity room for smart exercise class at 10:30 to work up a sweat! In the afternoon, we invite you for a sing- a-long with Kieth Tobey in the dining room.

Wednesday July 25th- If you like word puzzles than our weekly word search races are for you! Come to the 3rd floor café at 9:30 to race with us or enjoy a delicious scone. Since it is hot outside, we will be heading to Baskin Robins for some ice cream in the afternoon. Sign up in the green binder by the front desk if you are interested.

Thursday July 26th- Every Thursday morning we come around with our travelling tuck cart with goodies for sale! At 10:30 come down to the 1st floor activity room for exercises! If you missed the ice cream outing yesterday do not fret! We will be having cold drinks under the pergola this afternoon as well as the visiting library!

Friday July 27th- Friday’s are for solving the problems of the world! Come upstairs for our weekly newspaper reading with timbits  and coffee! Catholic church will be held at 10:30 in the 1st floor chapel. At 1:30, join us for a game of scrabble in the third floor café, or wii bowling in the 1st floor lounge!
