Weekly Activities Monday May 7th- Friday May 11th

Monday May 7th- Please join us for a freshly baked muffin and a coffee at 9:30 in the third floor café or get energized for exercise class starting at 10:30 in the first floor activity room. There will be two shopping trips to Sunrise Wal-Mart in the afternoon. Don’t forget to sign up for shopping in the green binder by the front desk if you would like to attend.

Tuesday May 8th- Join us for our Tuesday morning game of giant crosswords or a fresh cookie at 9:30 in the third floor café before heading down to exercises at 10:30! We will be having a scarf vendor coming in from 11-3 today so feel free to come to the 2nd floor lobby to browse! In the evening we will have a visit from our furry friends.

Wednesday May 9th- Every Wednesday we hold a challenging game of word search races accompanied by a fresh scone. At 1:30 bring your yarn and needles to knit and chat with us in the 3rd floor café. Since the Royal Wedding is right around the corner we will be making fascinators for our Royal Wedding Afternoon next Friday!

Thursday May 10th- Thursday is treat day! We will be coming around with our travelling tuck cart at 9:30 to sell chocolate bars, pop, and chips! In the afternoon join us for our arm chair travels to Belgium at 2:00 in the 3rd floor café. Country boys will be in at 6:30 for the monthly concert in the dining room. Hope to see you there!

Friday May 11th- Come up to the 3rd floor café for our weekly newspaper discussion where we solve the problems of the world. At 1:15 join us for a mothers day craft in the Café. Girlfriends show will be back to perform in the dining room for us and will be singing music from the 40’s, 50’s and 60’s. You will be sure to love these talented singers!

Monday April 30th – Friday May 4th

Monday April 30th- Please join us for fresh muffins at 9:30 in the third floor café followed by exercise class with Brigette! There will be two trips to Stanley Park Mall at 1:15 and 1:45. Don’t forget to sign your name in the green binder if you would like to attend!

Tuesday May 1st- Put your mind to the test as we play our weekly game of giant crosswords or help yourself to some fresh cookies at 9:30 in the 3rd floor café! At 2:00 we will have some musical entertainment with Kim Atkins on the guitar!

Wednesday May 2nd- Every Wednesday Morning we have our weekly match of word searches! At 10:30 we will have a church Service with Ken Loukas in the first floor chapel. Later we will have our sit and knit activity at 1:30 in the 3rd floor Café!

Thursday May 3rd- Every Thursday Morning we come around with our travelling tuck shop where you can buy everything from chocolate to toothpaste. At 10:30 come down to the 1st floor activity room for smart exercises followed by butter making at 1:30 in the 3rd floor Café! at 3:30 join Ryan in the 1st floor Activity room for a game of Bingo!

Friday May Fourth- May the 4th be with you! Please join us at 9:15 for coffee, timbits, and our weekly newspaper discussion! In the afternoon We will have a game of scrabble followed by smart exercises and visits from our furry friend!

Thursday April 26th- Today we will be coming by with our travelling tuck cart with many goodies for sale! In the afternoon join us for music with Bluegrass Café or a game of bingo.

Friday April 27th- Please join us for Tim Horton’s Coffee in the morning followed by a game of scrabble or visits from our furry friends in the afternoon!

Tuesday April 17- Please join us for Giant Crosswords in the 3rd floor café followed by our April Birthday party with music by Gary Munn! The theme of the day is Baseball so feel free to sport your favorite jersey!

Wednesday April 18th- Today is Yellow day in support of cancer! We will be raffling a giant chocolate bar for Cancer! Tickets will be sold for one dollar!

Thursday April 19th- Today we will be coming by with our travelling tuck cart with many goodies for sale! In the afternoon join us for music with Paul shaclm or a game of bingo.

Friday April 20th- Please join us for Tim Horton’s Coffee in the morning followed by a game of scrabble or visits from our furry friends in the afternoon!

Monday April 9th- Today Join us for exercise class in the morning followed by our weekly movie in the afternoon! At 1:30 we will be making garden gnomes for crafty corners!

Tuesday April 10th- Please join us for a non- denominational church service with Anne Marie at 9:30 in the 1st floor activity room. In the afternoon there will be a walk outside if the weather is nice. If not please join us in the 1st floor activity for a game of carpet darts at 1:30!

Wednesday April 11th- Come up to the third floor café for a weekly game of word search races followed by church with Ken Loukas! In the afternoon we will knit the day away followed by tea and tales at 7:30 in the 3rd floor café!

Thursday April 12th- Every Thursday we come around with our travelling tuck cart. We sell everything from chocolate to shampoo! Feel free to try our drink of the week at 9:30 in the 3rd floor café! In the afternoon we will have musical entertainment in the dining room with Paul Schalm on the piano!

Friday April 13th- If you like coffee and solving the problems of the world join us for coffee and timbits at 9:15 in the 3rd floor lounge! In the afternoon we will have a competitive game of scrabble and exercises!

Monday April 2nd- Happy Easter! We hope everyone had a safe and happy Easter weekend. Today we will have muffins at 9:30 in the 3rd floor café followed by a movie in the afternoon. We will also be having two shopping trips to Sunrise Walmart at 1:15 and 1:45. Sign up sheets for shopping are located in the green binder by the front desk!

Tuesday April 3rd- Please join us for a game of giant crosswords in the third floor lounge at 9:30. In the afternoon we will be having an information session on filing income taxes in the 3rd floor lounge at 1:30 followed by a sing-a-long with Helen Stephens at 2:30 in the dining room!

Wednesday April 4th- In the morning we will have our weekly word search races followed by a church service held by Calvin Presbyterian in the Chapel. Later we will sit and knit the afternoon away!

Thursday April 5th- Every Thursday morning at 9:30 we come around door to door with our travelling tuck cart. We sell everything from bars of soap to chocolate bars! We will also be having a pizza lunch for those who would like to participate. Sign up sheets are in the binder by the front desk!

Friday April 6th- Please join us for our weekly newspaper reading and help solve the problems of the world.On Friday afternoon we will play Euchre and Wii Bowling and have friendly dog visits!

Weekly Activities Monday March 26th- Friday March 30th

Monday March 26th- Please join us in the 3rd floor café for a muffin and a cup of coffee! In the afternoon we will be playing Euchre. New players welcome!

Tuesday March 27th- If you love to color please join us in the 3rd floor café to color some Easter pictures! In the afternoon we will be coloring 100 Easter eggs! Join us in the dining room if you would like to dye and paint your very own egg!

Wednesday March 28th- Join us in the morning for our weekly word search races! Put your skills to the test and see how many words you can find! In the afternoon we will be having our resident forum meeting if you would like to join us we will be in the 3rd floor Café at 2:00.

Thursday March 29th- Bluegrass Café has now changed times! Instead of coming in the evening they will now be playing a concert at 2:30. We will also be having an Easter egg hunt through the whole building! Come out to get some chocolate treats!

Friday March 30th- Good Friday! A safe and happy Easter to all residents and families.

Weekly Activities Monday March 19th to Friday March 23rd

Monday March 19th- Get your body moving with Smart exercises, starting at 10:30 in the first floor activity room. In the afternoon we will watch a classic movie followed by a game of Euchre. New players are always welcome!

Tuesday March 20th- Put yourself to the test with a game of Giant crosswords where we work as a team to complete the giant word puzzle. In the Afternoon we invite you to our March birthday party with musical entertainment by Bill Speer!

Wednesday March 21st- Come to the third floor café at 9:30 for a home made scone and our weekly word search races. In the afternoon we will have our sit and knit program where we knit and chat the afternoon away. At 3:00 join us for our resident forum meeting where we can answer any questions you may have!

Thursday March 22nd- In the morning the tuck cart will be making its way around the building right to your door! In the afternoon We will be heading on a trip to a sugar bush in St. Jacobs where we will get a horse drawn tour and eat pancakes and hot apple cider! The cost for the sugar bush will be 15 dollars a person with the meal and transportation included. Sign up at the front desk in the green binder.

Friday March 23rd- If you enjoy reading and discussing the news you will love our Tim Horton’s activity! Join us in the 3rd floor café at 9:15 to enjoy coffee and timbits. In the afternoon we will have musical entertainment by Paul Schalm on the piano!

Weekly Activities Monday March 12th to Friday March 16th

Monday March 12th- If you are feeling peckish after breakfast come to the third floor lounge at 9:30 to get a fresh muffin! In the afternoon there will be a food surprise. The only hint is that this activity can help children in need. There will be two shopping trips to Walmart at 1:15 and 1:45. Sign up sheets are located by the front desk.

Tuesday March 13th- Come to the 3rd floor at 9:30 from some freshly baked cookies right out of the oven! Anne Marie will be in for a non denominational church service in the 1st floor chapel. At 11:30 we will head to our lunch bunch at Kitchener’s own Concordia club! Sign up in the green binder if you would like to attend. In the afternoon we will have St. Patrick’s Day wheel of fortune in the 3rd floor Café.

Wednesday March 14th- Every Wednesday morning we sit down and put our minds together for word search races! We will have a church service with Ken Lucas before heading to lunch. In the afternoon we will travel to Ireland for our Travelogue. Shamrock shakes for all to enjoy!

Thursday March 15th- This morning we will be coming around with our travelling tuck cart which has everything from soap to chocolate bars. In the afternoon we will have some St. Patrick’s Day cookie decorating on the third floor followed by an afternoon of music with Derek Byrne in the dining room.

Friday March 16th- Today we will scroll through the newspaper and solve the problems of the world together over a cup of hot coffee and donuts. In the afternoon we will have several activities including Euchre, Wii Bowling, and a visit from our canine friend Winston!

Monday February 26th- Join us this morning for muffins followed by smart exercises. In the afternoon there will be two trips to Stanley Park Mall at 1:15 and 1:45. Sign up sheets are in the green binder by the front desk!

Tuesday February 27th- Every Tuesday we start the day off with a big game of giant crosswords. In the afternoon we will have a musical activity called Jamming with Greg followed by manicures in the 3rd floor activity office.

Wednesday February 28th- This morning we will kick the day off with our weekly word search races followed by St. Andrew’s Presbyterian church service. After lunch we will knit the day away followed by tea and tales in the evening.

Thursday February March 1st- Every Thursday we have a special drink of the week! Come to the 3rd floor activity room to see what we have made this week. In the afternoon we will be having an indoor gardening program where we will make our own terrariums and plant some fennel seeds.

Friday March 2nd- Today we will start the day with our newspaper discussion followed by visits from our furry friend and a game of euchre in the afternoon.
