Weekly Activities: Monday July 16th- Friday July 20th

Monday July 16th- Join us upstairs in the 3rd floor café for a freshly baked muffin, or head down to exercises with Brigitte at 10:30 to get your body moving! In the afternoon we will be having one shopping trip to giant tiger at 2:30 as well as Jamming with Greg at 1:15 where will sing- a-long with our very talented resident Greg!

Tuesday July 17th- Put your mind to the test with our weekly dose of Giant Crossword puzzles and fresh cookies! Meet us in the 3rd floor café at 9:30. In the afternoon we will be arm chair travelling to Bombay to Mumbai! Come to the 3rd floor Café at 2:00 to hear more about these magical destinations. Visits from our canine friends will be at 3:00 followed by tea and tales with Ruth at 7:00 in the 3rd floor Café!

Wednesday July 18th- We will start the morning off right with our weekly word search races to wake us up for the rest of the day! Meet in the 3rd floor café at 9:30. In the afternoon we will be making a trip to Sheridan Nursery so do not forget to sign your name in the green binder by the front desk if you would like to attend! At 3:00 come to the 3rd floor café for our resident food meeting! We love your feedback!

Thursday July 19th- This morning we will be coming around with our wonderful travelling tuck cart with lots of goodies for sale! At 10:30 head down to the 1st floor activity room for smart exercise class. After lunch we will have a performance by Paul Schalm on the piano so don’t forget to head to the dining room at 2:00. At 3:30 head to the 1st floor activity room for Bingo! There are prizes to be won!

Friday July 20th- Solve the problems of the world with us at our weekly newspaper reading. We supply coffee, timbits, and great conversation! At 10:30 we will have a catholic church service in our chapel followed by scrabble at 1:30, wii Bowling, or smart exercises at 2:15. Enjoy your weekend everyone!

Weekly Activities: Monday July 9th to Friday July 13th

Monday July 9th- Head up to the 3rd floor café at 9:30 for a freshly baked muffin followed by exercise class at 10:30. In the afternoon we will be watching the movie Charlie Wilson’s War followed by an afternoon of Euchre!

Tuesday July 10th- Put your mind to the test with our giant crossword puzzles and cookies starting at 9:30 in the third floor café. If you feel like getting creative join us for adult coloring and scrabble after lunch followed by dog visits and tea and tales in the evening.

Wednesday July 11th- Wednesday morning’s we always have our weekly word search races at 9:30 in the 3rd floor Café followed by a church service at 10:30. If you love to knit we have a knitting group every Wednesday at 1:30 followed by an outdoor walk as long as the weather is nice!

Thursday July 12th- This morning we will come door to door with our travelling tuck cart! We sell everything from soap to chocolate. At 10:30 join us for smart exercises followed by entertainment with Paul Schalm at 2:00 or Euchre at 3:00!

Friday July 13th- Come and solve the problems of the world with us at our weekly newspaper reading at 9:15 in the 3rd floor café followed by catholic church at 10:30 in the 1st floor chapel. In the afternoon join us for scrabble and Euchre in the 3rd floor Café or Wii bowling in the first floor lounge!

Weekly Activities :Tuesday July 3rd – Friday July 6th

Tuesday July 3rd-  Come up to the 3rd floor café at 9:30 for a game of giant crossword puzzles and fresh cookies! If you are feeling energized join us for exercise class starting at 10:30 in the 1st floor activity room. In the afternoon we will celebrate Canada’s 151st year with a Canada day activity at 2:00 in the 3rd floor café. In the evening we will have visits from our furry friends followed by Tea and Tales with Ruth at 7:00 in the 3rd floor Café!

Wednesday July 4th- Every Wednesday we have our weekly word search races at 9:30 in the 3rd floor café with a coffee and a scone. At 10:30 meet in the 1st floor chapel for a church service with Calvin Presbyterian church. After lunch we will be taking a trip to Lakeside park. If you would like to join us meet in the front lobby at 1:30 pm. We will be taking the van!

Thursday July 5th- Every Thursday Brigette and Carling come door to door with our travelling tuck cart! We sell chocolate bars, chips, pop and more! In the afternoon we will celebrate the July Birthdays at 2:00 in the dining room with musical entertainment with Pat Murray. At 3:00 come to the third floor café for euchre and games or head down to the 1st floor activity room for bingo with Ryan!

Friday July 6th-  Come help solve the problems of the word with our weekly newspaper reading in the 3rd floor café. We serve coffee and timbits! In the afternoon we have an array of games to play including scrabble and wii bowling at 1:30. Exercise class is held at 2:15 on Friday afternoons followed by pet visits!

Monday June 25th- If you are looking for a mid- morning snack to tide you through lunch come up to the 3rd floor café at 9:30 for a freshly baked muffin. At 10:30 join Brigette in the 1st floor activity room for exercises class before lunch. There will be 2 shopping trips to Stanley park Mall at 1:15 and 1:45. Don’t forget to sign up in the green binder by the front desk!

Tuesday June 26th- Come up to the 3rd floor café at 9:30 to test your mind in a game of Giant Crosswords, or treat yourself to a freshly baked cookie. At 11:00 we will be heading out for out monthly lunch bunch. This month we will be going to Schmidtsville! Sign your name in the green binder by the front desk if you would like to come with us. When we return we will have a game of euchre and visits from our furry friends!

Wednesday June 27th- Today is the big day! We will be having our resident and family barbeque. Each resident is welcome to have 3 guests attend the barbeque. Doors will open at 4:45pm!

Thursday June 28th- At 9:30 we will be coming door to door with our travelling tuck cart where you can purchase everything from pop to shampoo. At 10:30 we will have smart exercise class  in the 1st floor activity room. At 2:00, oin us in the 3rd floor café to make some delicious Strawberry preserves with fresh strawberries followed by Canada Day coloring, or a game of bingo with Ryan at 3:30 in the 1st floor Activity room.

Friday June 29th- Come and solve the problems of the world with us at our weekly newspaper reading and discussion at 9:15 in the 3rd floor café. We have coffee and chat over timbits! At 10:30 come down to the 1st floor chapel to have a catholic church service. In the afternoon enjoy a game of scrabble, wii bowling, followed by exercise class at 2:15. Our friendly dog friend will be in at 3:00 for a visit!

Monday June 18th- Mondays are for muffins! Come up to the 3rd floor café to enjoy one at 9:30. At 10:30 Brigitte will be teaching exercise class in the 1st floor activity room. In the afternoon there will be 2 trips to Stanley Park Mall. Sign your name in the green binder by the front desk to shop at 1:15 or 1:45.

Tuesday June 19th- If you would like your feet looked at, Jocelyn the foot care nurse will be in today. you can book an appointment with her in the green binder by the front desk! If you would like to order in Chinese food for lunch, the menu is in the binder by the front desk. If you have any questions you can ask Brigette or Carling. In the afternoon we will be having Father’s Day entertainment with Sheryl Welsh at 2:00 followed by a game of Euchre and visits from our furry friends.

Wednesday June 20th- At 9:30 we will have our weekly word searches followed by a church service at 10:30 in the 1st floor chapel. In the afternoon we will knit our worries away at 1:30, or venture on a walk around the neighborhood.

Thursday June 21st- Every Thursday we come around with our magical travelling tuck cart. We sell chocolate, soap, and everything in between. At 1:30 we will be playing Euchre followed by Bingo at 3:30.

Friday June 22nd- Come and solve the problems of the world at our weekly Newspaper reading and discussion. We always have coffee and donuts! In the afternoon, challenge yourself to a game of wii bowling or scrabble before our dog friend comes by to visit at 3:00.

Monday June 11th- Please help yourself to a freshly baked muffin at 9:30 in the 3rd floor café. at 1:00 we will be playing a movie followed by two shopping trips to Sunrise Walmart.

Tuesday June 12th- Come to the 3rd floor café at 9:30 to color your cares away or enjoy a coffee and a fresh cookie. Head down to the 1st floor activity room for exercise class at 10:30. At 2:00 we will be celebrating all the June birthdays with musical entertainment with Bill Speer followed by dog visits in the evening.

Wednesday June 13th- Every Wednesday morning we put our minds to the test with word search racing. Join us in the 3rd floor café at 9:30 followed by a church service at 10:30 in the first floor chapel. Come upstairs to the 3rd floor café at 1:30 to knit the afternoon away!

Thursday June 14th- Every Thursday morning we come around with our travelling tuck cart! We sell everything from soap to chocolate bars! At 10:30 come down to the 1st floor activity room for smart exercise class followed by Music with Paul Schalm in the dining room at 2:00. If you haven’t had enough fun yet, join Ryan for bingo at 3:30 in the 1st floor activity room.

Friday June 15th- Come and solve the problems of the world with our weekly newspaper reading or you can simply enjoy some coffee and timbits. In the afternoon we will have a craft at 1:30 in the 3rd floor café followed by exercises at 2:15 and visits from our furry friends!

Monday June 4th- Come up to the 3rd floor Café to enjoy a cup of tea and a freshly baked muffin. At 10:30 head downstairs to the 1st floor activity room for exercise class with Carling! At 1:00 head up to the 3rd floor Café for our weekly flick followed by knitting the afternoon away!

Tuesday June 5th- Put your mind to the test with our weekly games of giant crossword puzzles at 9:30 in the 3rd floor café or enjoy a freshly baked cookie. Come on down to Smart exercise class at 10:30 in the 1st floor activity room.

Wednesday June 6th- Every Wednesday morning we have our weekly word search races and scones! At 10:30 join us for a church service with Calvin Presbyterian in the 1st floor chapel. At 1:30 we will have our sit-n-knit program followed by tea and tales at 7:00pm in the 3rd floor Café.

Thursday June 7th- Every Thursday morning Brigette and  Carling come around with our travelling tuck shop with lots of goodies for sale. Come down to smart exercise class at 10:30 followed by an afternoon of fun! We will be having some chocolate therapy at 2:00 followed by Euchre or a game of bingo at 3:00.

Friday June 8th- Catch up on the news with us over a coffee and a timbit at 9:15 in the 3rd floor Café followed by a Roman Catholic church service at 10:30 in the 1st floor Chapel. In the afternoon we will have a game of scrabble followed by Smart Exercise class starting at 2:15 in the 1st floor activity room. Our friendly Canine friend will be in for a visit at 3:00.

Monday May 28th- Come up to the 3rd floor café at 9:30 followed by exercise class at 10:30 in the 1st floor activity room. We will be heading to Stanley park mall at 1:15 and 1:45.

Tuesday May 29th- Join us for a interactive game of giant crosswords at 9:30 in the 3rd floor café. We will be heading to Elora Raceway Casino at 10:45 for our monthly lunch bunch. Sign up in the green binder by the front desk if you would like to eat with us! There will be dog visits at 6:30 when we return.

Wednesday May 30th- Today is Gardening Day which means the staff at Conestoga lodge will be outside making everything summer ready! In the morning stop by for our weekly word search races or exercise class. In the afternoon head up to the 3rd floor café for our sit-n-knit program at 1:30 or Tea and Tales at 7:30.

Thursday May 31st- Sadly today is Sandy’s last day as Administrator at Conestoga Lodge. We invite the residents to join us for her celebration tea at 2:00 as we wish her well in her retirement!

Friday June 1st- Every Friday we have our weekly Newspaper reading and discussion over a cup of coffee. In the afternoon we will head up to the 3rd floor café for a game of scrabble at 1:30 or to exercise class at 2:15 in the 1st floor activity room. Don’t forget to say hello to our friendly dog visitor at 3:00!

Monday May 21st- Happy Victoria Day Everyone! Regular Activities will resume Tuesday May 22nd.

Tuesday May 22nd- Join us in the morning for a challenging game of giant crosswords followed by smart exercises at 10:30 in the 1st floor activity room. We invite you to come down to the dining room at 2:00 to celebrate all the May birthdays with us! Wyatt Ladd will be in for musical entertainment.

Wednesday May 23rd- Come up to the 3rd floor café for our weekly game of word searching followed by a church service in the 1st floor chapel at 10:30. In the afternoon we will be having a resident forum meeting at 3:00 after Sit- N- Knit at 1:30 and we would love to hear your input!

Thursday May 24th- Every Thursday morning our travelling tuck cart makes its way around the building. We sell everything from bars of soap to chocolate. In the afternoon stop by the third floor café to rent a book from the Kitchener public library or join us in the dining room for a concert with Bluegrass Café at 2:30.

Friday May 25th- Start the day off with our weekly newspaper discussion at 9:15 in the third floor café followed by a Catholic church service in the 1st floor chapel at 10:30. In the afternoon we will be playing a game of scrabble at 1:30 followed by exercise class at 2:15.

Monday May 14th- Head up to the 3rd floor café for a delicious muffin followed by exercise class at 10:30 in the first floor activity room. We will be making two shopping trips today to Stanley park mall at 1:15 and 1:45. Sign your name in the green binder by the front desk if you would like to come along!

Tuesday May 15th- If you like word puzzles than you will love our game of giant crosswords! Meet us in the 3rd floor Café to play with us. At 10:30 David will be in to teach exercise class in the 1st floor activity room. Pat Murray will be in at 2:00 for some musical entertainment in the dining room!

Wednesday May 16th- Come up to the 3rd floor café for our weekly word search races at 9:30 followed by a church service with Ken Loukas at 10:30 in the 1st floor chapel. In the afternoon we will have our food meeting where we can answer any questions you might have about the meals at Conestoga Lodge. The meeting will be held at 3:00 in the 3rd floor Café.

Thursday May 17th- Every Thursday morning there will be a special drink to try in the 3rd floor café at 9:30 as we come door to door with our travelling tuck shop. Paul Schalm will be in at 2:00 to play some beautiful melodies on the piano in the dining room. Join us in the 1st floor activity room for a game of bingo with Ryan at 3:30!

Friday May 18th- Today is a very important day as it is the Eve before the Royal Wedding! Join us at 9:15 for our newspaper reading followed by a Royal Wedding afternoon with music and snacks to enjoy!
