Weekly Activities: Monday December 17th- Friday December 21st

Monday December 17th- Come upstairs to the 3rd floor Café for a freshly baked muffin at 9:30 before getting your body moving in exercise class at 10:45. At 1:00, join us for a movie in the 3rd floor Café. This week we will be playing “The Lake House.” If you would like to go shopping to Walmart, sign up in the green binder by the front desk. The vans will be departing at 1:15 and 1:45!

Tuesday December 18th- Every Tuesday morning we get the day started with a big game of giant crossword puzzles and fresh cookies! At 10:45 head to the first floor activity room for smart exercise class. For this month’s lunch bunch we will be going to Swiss Chalet to enjoy their Christmas deals. You can sign up in the green binder by the front desk if you would like to attend.

Wednesday December 19th- Wednesdays are for word search races! Come to the 3rd floor café at 9:30 to word search away or enjoy a baked scone. A church service will be held in the chapel at 10:30. In the afternoon join us to knit the afternoon away or enjoy pet visits at 6:30 followed by tea and tales at 7:00.

Thursday December 20th- On Thursday mornings we come around with the travelling tuck cart with chocolate bars, chips, and pop for sale! At 10:45 head down to the 1st floor activity room for exercises. If you would like to sign up for Chinese lunch you can see the menu and prices in the green binder by the front desk. In the afternoon we will be having some holiday music with Greg in the dining room at 2:00 followed by bingo at 3:30.

Friday December 21st- Come and solve the problems of the world with our weekly newspaper reading! We serve coffee and timbits! Catholic church will take place at 10:30 in the 1st floor chapel. At 1:30 join us in the 3rd floor café for a game of euchre, or head to the 1st floor activity room at 2:15 for exercises!

Monday December 10th- Come on upstairs to the 3rd floor café for a freshly baked muffin before smart exercise class at 10:45 in the 1st floor activity room. At 1:00, join us for a weekly movie followed by 2 shopping trips to Stanley Park Mall. Please sign up in the green binder by the front desk if you would like to attend!

Tuesday December 11th- Every Tuesday we start the day off with a big game of Giant Crossword puzzles while we enjoy baked cookies. Head down to the 1st floor activity room for exercise class at 10:45. At 2:00 we will be celebrating all of the December birthdays at Conestoga Lodge. Wyatt Ladd will be in for musical entertainment in the dining room!

Wednesday December 12th- Join us upstairs in the 3rd floor café for weekly word search races and scones at 9:30 followed by a church service in the 1st floor chapel. At 1:30 join us in the 3rd floor café to knit the afternoon away, or come to the 3rd floor café at 7:00pm for tea and tales!

Thursday December 13th- Every Thursday we come around with our travelling tuck cart! We sell everything from chocolate bars to bars of soap. At 10:45 head to the 1st floor activity room to get your body moving in Smart Exercise class. In the afternoon we will be making some delicious chocolate treats in the Café for a chocolate therapy session at 2:00 in the 3rd floor Café. Bingo will be held at 3:30 in the 1st floor activity room.

Friday December 14th- Come upstairs to the 3rd floor café at 9:15 to solve the problems of the world and enjoy a cup of coffee. Catholic church will be held at 10:30 in the 1st floor Chapel. At 1:30 join us in the café for a game or euchre, or head to the 1st floor activity room for exercises at 2:15.

Monday December 3rd- Every Monday we start the day with a freshly baked muffin and coffee in the 3rd floor Café followed by exercise class at 10:45. In the Afternoon join us for the weekly movie! This week we will be playing “Brigadoon.” Don’t forget to sign up in the green binder by the front desk if you would like a manicure!

Tuesday December 4th- Come upstairs to the 3rd floor café at 9:30 to play a game of giant crosswords or enjoy a baked cookie. Get your body moving with Smart Exercise class at 10:45 in the first floor activity room. In the afternoon we will be decorating our doors for Christmas followed by Santa Paws pictures after dinner! Everyone will get a photo with our lovely pet visitors.

Wednesday December 5th- Word search your Wednesday morning away with word search races, starting at 9:30 in the 3rd floor activity room. In the afternoon we will be making our way to Grand River High school for their annual Christmas tea! They will be serving finger foods and coffee and tea!

Thursday December 6th- Today is the day of the Conestoga Lodge family Christmas party! We look forward to seeing you at 5:00 to enjoy a nice Christmas dinner with family and friends. At 9:30, we will be making Cranberry sauce for the dinner. Meet in the 3rd floor café if you would like to cook with us! Bingo will be held in the 1st floor activity room.

Friday December 7th- Come and solve the problems of the world at our weekly newspaper reading and discussion. We have Coffee and timbits and chat the morning away. At 10:30, come down to the 1st floor Chapel for a Catholic church service. In the afternoon, join us for a game of Euchre at 1:30 or Smart exercise class at 2:15. Have a fantastic weekend!

Monday November 26th- Join us upstairs in the 3rd floor café at 9:30 for a freshly baked muffin. Exercise class will be held in the 1st floor activity room at 10:45. In the afternoon, join us for a movie at 1:00, or a game of solo at 2:30 in the 3rd floor Café!

Tuesday November 27th- Meet in the 3rd floor café for a big game of Giant crosswords followed by exercise class at 10:45 in the 1st floor activity room. At 10:45 we will be headed to Prime Barbeque for our monthly lunch bunch! Don’t forget to sign up in the green binder at the front desk if you would like to attend. When we get home we will have a sing- a -long with Helen Stephens at 2:30!

Wednesday November 28th- Every Wednesday we word search the morning away starting at 9:30 in the 3rd floor café followed by church service at 10:30 in the 1st floor chapel. In the afternoon we will be sitting and knitting in the third floor café followed by the resident food meeting at 3:00.

Thursday November 29th- Every Thursday we come around with the travelling tuck cart! We sell everything from soap to chocolate bars. At 10:45 head to the 1st floor activity room for exercises. After lunch we will be having musical entertainment with Bluegrass Café in the dining room. Bingo will be at 3:30.

Friday November 30th- Come and solve the problems of the world with our weekly newspaper reading! We provide the coffee and timbits! At 10:30 head to the chapel for a catholic church service. In the afternoon you can join us for a game of euchre or wii bowling at 1:30 or exercises at 2:15. We will be having some wonderful entertainment called the “Girlfriends Show” at 7:00 in the dining room.

Monday November 12th- Join us upstairs in the café for a freshly baked muffin at 9:30. At 10:45 head down to the 1st floor activity room to get the body moving with exercise class. At 1:00, come on up to the 3rd floor Café for the movie of the week followed by a spy craft game at 2:30.

Tuesday November 13th- Every Tuesday we start the day with giant Crossword puzzles! Get your body moving with smart exercise class at 10:45 or join us for a big game of carpet darts at 2:00!

Wednesday November 14th- Come on up to the 3rd floor café for our weekly word search races and freshly baked scones at 9:30! Church service today will be with Ken Lucas at 10:30 in the 1st floor chapel. In the afternoon we will be taking a part a week wacker engine with Isaac! There will be a scarf vendor in today from 11:00- 3:00 for all your shopping needs.

Thursday November 15th- Every Thursday we come around with our travelling tuck cart of goodies at 9:30! We sell everything from chips to shampoo. In the afternoon we will have some delightful entertainment with Paul Schalm at 2:00 in the dining room followed by bingo with Ryan at 3:30.

Friday November 16th- Come and solve the problems of the world with us at our weekly newspaper reading. There will be a Roman Catholic church service at 10:30 in the 1st floor chapel. At 1:30 head to the 3rd floor café for a game of Euchre or to the 1st floor café for wii bowling. Exercises will be at 2:15 !

Monday November 5th- Join us upstairs in the 3rd floor café for a delicious freshly baked muffin followed by exercises at 10:45. There will be 2 trips to Stanley park Mall at 1:15 and 1:45!

Tuesday November 6th- Every Tuesday we get together in the 3rd floor activity room for a big game of Giant Crossword puzzles at 9:30 in the 3rd floor café and enjoy fresh cookies. At 10:45, head downstairs to the 1st floor activity room for smart exersizes, followed by Music with Pat Murray at 2:00.

Wednesday November 7th- Wednesday is for Word search races! Join us in the 3rd floor café at 9:30 to search the day away! Smart exercises will be at 10:45 followed by Sit N Knit at 1:30 and the Resident Forum Meeting at 3:00.

Thursday November 8th- At 9:30 we will make our way around with the travelling tuck cart! We sell soap, chocolate bars, pop, and more! Exercises will be at 10:45 followed by music with Sheryl Welsh in the afternoon. Bingo will be held at 3:30 in the first floor activity room.

Friday November 9th- Come and solve the problems of the world at our weekly newspaper reading at 9:15 followed by a catholic church service at 10:30. In the afternoon we will have a game of monopoly in the café followed by exercises at 2:15.

Monday October 29th- Please join us up in the 3rd floor Café for muffin Monday at 9:30 followed by exercises at 10:45 in the 1st floor Activity room. In the afternoon, there will be 2 shopping trips to Stanley Park Mall!

Tuesday October 30th- Put your mind to the test with our weekly game of giant crosswords followed by exercises at 10:45! At 10:45 we will also be heading out to the Brantford Casino for our monthly lunch bunch. Dog visits will be at 6:30.

Wednesday October 31st- October 31st is Halloween, so we will have lots of spooky activities throughout the day! Join us up stairs in the 3rd floor Café for a creepy game of word searches followed by a church service with Don Pond at 10:30. In the afternoon join us for our Halloween themed birthday party with Kim Atkins at 2:00!

Thursday November 1st- It’s the time of year again to start protecting ourselves against the dreadful flue bug! We will be administering flue shots starting at 10:00 in the dining room followed by exercises at 10:45. Today we will be ordering pizza lunch at 11:45 so don’t forget to sign up in the green binder by the front desk if you would like to order a pizza! Chocolate therapy will be at 2:00 followed by bingo at 3:30 and Country boys at 6:30.

Friday November 2nd- Come and solve the problems of the world with us at our weekly newspaper reading! We provide coffee and timbits. In the afternoon join us for euchre and wii bowling followed by exercise class at 2:15.

Weekly Activities: Monday October 22nd to Friday October 26th

Monday October 22nd – Please join us upstairs in the 3rd floor café at 9:30 for a freshly baked muffin! At 10:30 head down to the 1st floor activity room for an exercise class to get the blood flowing and the body moving. In the afternoon, meet in the third floor Café for a movie, or for a game of Euchre at 2:30.

Tuesday October 23rd- Every Tuesday we have a big game of giant crosswords and fresh cookies at 9:30 in the 3rd floor café. At 10:45 head down to the 1st floor activity room for smart exercises, followed by a trivia afternoon at 2:00 in the 3rd floor café. We will have visits from our dog friends at 6:30.

Wednesday October 24th- Wednesdays are for word search races! Join us upstairs in the 3rd floor café to put your mind to the test or enjoy a fresh scone. In the afternoon we will knit and color the afternoon away at 1:30, followed by tea and tales at 7:00.

Thursday October 25th- At 9:30 we will be coming door to door with our travelling tuck cart, followed by smart exercise class at 10:45 in the 1st floor activity room. At 1:30, The Kitchener visiting library will be in so join us in the 3rd floor café if you would like to rent a book or movie. At 2:30 head to the dining room for music with bluegrass Café!

Friday October 26th- Come and solve the problems of the world with our weekly dose of news and discussion in the 3rd floor café. We will have coffee and timbits! Catholic church will start at 10:30 in the 1st floor chapel followed by scrabble at 1:30 or exercise class at 2:15.

Weekly Activities: Monday October 15th- Friday October 19th

Monday October 15th- If you are feeling like a morning snack, come to the 3rd floor café at 9:30 for a freshly baked muffin! Exercise class will be in the 1st floor activity at 10:30. In the afternoon we will be playing a film in the café at 1:00, and going on 2 shopping trips at 1:15 and 1:45. Sign your name in the green binder by the front desk if you would like to join our shopping trips.

Tuesday October 16th- Head on up to the 3rd floor café for a freshly baked cookie, and a game of giant crossword puzzles! In the afternoon we will be celebrating Oktoberfest with Bill Speer in the dining room at 2:00pm. Feel free to wear your lederhosen or your dirndl if you have one! Dog visits will be at 6:30.

Wednesday October 17th- Every Wednesday we word search the morning away starting at 9:30 in the 3rd floor café! There will be scones for all to enjoy. Head downstairs to the 1st floor chapel at 10:30 for a church service. In the afternoon, join us in the 3rd floor café for pumpkin Carving! Maybe we can enjoy the toasted pumpkin seeds when the job is done…

Thursday October 18th- Every Thursday morning we come around with our travelling tuck cart filled with goodies and supplies. Get your body moving in smart exercise class at 10:45 in the 1st floor activity room! In the afternoon we will have musical entertainment with Paul Schalm at 2:00 in the dining room, followed by bingo at 3:30!

Friday October 19th- Today we Celebrate Breast Cancer awareness day. We will be selling pink ribbons and cupcakes and all the money raised will be going to breast cancer. Please wear pink to show your support for all those who have suffered with this horrible disease.

Tuesday October 9th- Please join us for Giant Crosswords followed by Smart exercises in the 1st floor activity room! In the afternoon we will be having musical entertainment with “In the Fog Boys” followed by manicures at 3:00 and dog visits!

Wednesday October 10th- Come and meet us in the 3rd floor cafe for our weekly word searches, or head down to the Chapel for church with Faith Lutheran at 10:30. At 1:30 we will knit the afternoon away followed by tea and tales at 7:00pm.

Thursday October 11th- At 9:30 we will come door to door with our travelling tuck cart with goodies and toiletries for sale! At 2:00 meet in the dining room for musical entertainment with Paul Schalm. Bingo will be held at 3:30 in the 1st floor activity room!

Friday October 12th- This morning Deb Chapman will be coming in for a general meeting! She is running for city Council in Kitchener. At 10:30 join us in the 1st floor chapel for a catholic church service. In the afternoon you can join us for euchre at 1:30 or Smart exercises at 2:15!
