Weekly Activities : Monday December 11th- Friday December 15th

Monday December 11th- Today is the 2nd out of three shopping trips this month! We will be heading to Walmart at 1:15 and 1:45.

Tuesday December 12th: We will spend the morning playing some Giant Crosswords and in the afternoon we will have dog visits and popcorn threading!

Wednesday December 13th- We have a lot in store today! We will start off with word search races in the 3rd floor Café and knit the afternoon away! We will also be playing a Christmas game called “Blow the Fuse”

Thursday December 14th- Today we have a very musical day! At 2:00 meet in the dining room for Christmas music on the piano with Paul Shalm followed by Country Boys at 6:30!

Friday December 15th- Today we will read the news paper over a cup of hot coffee and some donuts! In the afternoon we will be making a Christmas craft and have visits with our furry friends

Weekly Activities: Monday December 4th to Friday December 8th

Monday December 4th – Since Christmas is right around the corner we are going to be having 3 shopping trips in the month of December! Sign up sheets are in the activity office on the 3rd floor and vans will be leaving at 1:15 and 1:45.

Tuesday December 5th – Today we will be transforming all the doors in Conestoga Lodge into a Christmas wonderland! Put on your thinking caps and get ready to decorate your door into a holiday dream! Santa Paws pictures will be taking place in the evening so smile for the camera.

Wednesday December 6th- Today is Christmas sweater day! We invite you to join us in dressing festive for our annual Grand River Christmas tea where we will enjoy plenty of holiday fun!

Thursday December 7th- Today is our resident family Christmas party! In the morning the residents will be making the cranberry sauce for the party for all to enjoy. Doors will be opening at 5:00 followed by musical entertainment by Keith Toby. Can’t wait to see everyone there!

Friday December 8th- Today we will start off with our weekly newspaper reading and discussion. In the spirit of Christmas we will have “The Night Before Christmas” game starting at 1:30 in the 3rd floor Café.

Weekly Activities: Monday November 27th- Friday December 1st

Monday November 27th- Starting off the day with a freshly baked muffin and a film! In the afternoon we will have two trips to Stanley Park Mall! It’s a great time to do some Christmas shopping.

Tuesday November 28th- Today there will be freshly baked cookies and adult coloring happening at 9:30 in the 3rd floor Cafe. At 11:00 we will be heading to the Elora Raceway for our monthly lunch bunch. Hope you are feeling lucky!

Wednesday November 29th- Today we will be decorating Conestoga lodge top to bottom with Christmas decorations! We invite all residents to participate in decorating our five Christmas trees. We will also have some hot chocolate and fruit cake to enjoy!

Thursday November 30th- Every week we come by with our travelling tuck cart!In the evening we will have our Bluegrass Cafe for entertainment.

Friday December – It’s time for our weekly newspaper reading! Come to the 3rd floor cafe and enjoy coffee and timbits at 9:15. In the afternoon we will have our exercise class and a game of Euchre!

Weekly Activities- November 20th – 25

Monday November 20th- Today’s movie will be The Great Outdoors! A comedy featuring John Candy! Join us in the 3rd floor Cafe at 9:30

Tuesday November 21st- Today we will start the morning with our giant crossword puzzles at 9:30 in the third floor cafe followed by some musical entertainment at 2:00 in the dining room.

Wednesday November 22nd -Today St. Andrews church will be holding a televised church service. The elders from the church will be giving communion. This evening we will have tea and tales with Ruth starting at 7:00 in the 3rd floor Cafe!

Thursday November 4th- Today we will have musical entertainment with one of our residents here at Conestoga Lodge. Greg will be singing for us and playing the guitar for us at 2:00 in the dining room. We will also have the Kitchener library coming in with books to rent in the 3rd floor Cafe.

Friday November 25th- Today we will have our weekly reading of the newspaper followed by exercises and visits from our furry dog friends!

Weekly Activities November 13th-17th

Monday November 13th – There is nothing better than a freshly baked muffin to start your day! Join us in the 3rd floor lounge for a muffin followed by smart exercises in the 1st floor activity room. There will be two trips to Stanley park shopping mall in the afternoon.

Tuesday November 14th- At 9:30 We will be having baked cookies in the Café while we color our cares away. After lunch we will have our November birthday Party. The theme for the party will be Mad Hatter!

Wednesday November 15th- Today we will be having Chinese lunch. Sign up sheets for the lunch will be on the second floor in the green binder. Please join us in the afternoon for knitting and Christmas Choir practice

Thursday November 16th- This morning we will be coming by with our travelling tuck cart! We sell everything from chocolate bars to toothpaste. In the afternoon we will have some musical entertainment by Paul Shalm followed by a game of bingo.

Friday November 17th- If you like to read the newspaper over a hot cup of Jo join us in the third floor Café at 9:15. The afternoon will consist of a Euchre tournament followed by dog visits from our lovely furry friends.

Weekly Activities: November 6 to November 10th

Monday November 6th: Mondays are for muffins and movies! Join us in the 3rd floor café to enjoy a classic flick together at 9:30. Today we will also get our flue shots to ensure everyone stays nice and healthy this winter.

Tuesday November 7th: If you like challenge, come down to Giant Crosswords in the 3rd floor café at 9:30. There are freshly baked cookies every Tuesday morning. In the afternoon we will have a sing-a-long with Helen Stephens followed by some pampering manicures!

Wednesday November 8th: We have an afternoon of fun planned starting with knitting in the 3rd floor café, a game of would you rather and Tea and Tales with Ruth at 7:00pm.

Thursday November 9th: It’s time for a little chocolate therapy! Join us in the Café to see what we will be making for our next chocolate masterpiece.

Friday November 10th: Today Shriners will be in to sell fruit cakes. They will be sold on the second floor by the front desk.

Weekly Activities: October 30th – November 3rd

Monday October 30th- Please join us in the third floor café for freshly baked muffins and a movie! In the afternoon we will be headed to Stanley Park shopping mall. Sign up sheets are in the third floor activity office.

Tuesday October 31st- Well its time for spooky stories and scary costumes once again! Feel free to dress up with us and partake in an afternoon of scary stories and Karaoke with Michael in the third floor café.

Wednesday November 1st- We will be playing carpet darts in the first floor activity room followed by our first Christmas Choir practice of the year! If you love to sing Christmas Carols please join Brigitte and Carling in the first floor activity room.

Thursday November 2nd- Today we will be looking at beautiful wildlife photography with Luanne in the third floor café followed by bingo in the first floor activity room. There will be treats to be won!

Friday November 3rd- Today we will look at the weekly newspaper over a fresh cup of Tim Horton’s Coffee. In the afternoon we invite you to join for the “Anything Can Happen” activity in the 3rd floor café.

Monday October 23th- Please join us for a movie followed by a nice relaxing country drive!

Tuesday October 24th- Come celebrate all the October Birthdays with Sheryl Welsh in the Dining room.

Wednesday October 25th- Today we will be heading to Harmony Lunch for our monthly lunch bunch followed by an afternoon of knitting!

Thursday October 26th- Today we are going to get Halloween ready by carving pumpkins in the third floor café! There will be chocolates and goodies for all to enjoy.

Friday October 27th- Please join us for Tim Horton’s coffee while we read the paper! There will be a catholic church service and an afternoon of Euchre and scrabble.

Weekly Activities: October 16th to 20th

Monday October 16th: Please join us for Cleopatra (Part two) for movie Monday! Stanley Park Mall Shopping trips will be heading out at 1:15 and 1:45.

Tuesday October 17th: Today we will be jamming with Greg! Come down to the dining room to sing a long with us at 2:00 pm.

Wednesday November 18th: In the morning we will be having our weekly word search races followed by an afternoon of knitting. We will be having the resident food meeting at 2:30 for any who would like to partake.

Thursday October 19th: Today is Breast Cancer Pink Day. Join us in wearing pink to help raise awareness for breast cancer. Paul Shalm will be in to entertain in the dining room at 2:00pm followed by bingo at 3:30.

Friday October 20th: We will read the newspaper and enjoy Tim Horton’s coffee and donuts! We will have exercises and dog visits in the afternoon.

Monday October 9th- Happy Thanksgiving! There will beThanksgiving puzzles and games in the 3rd Floor Cafe!

Tuesday October 10th- Today we will have our Pizza Lunch! 7 dollars for a personal pizza so don’t forget to sign up!Please join us for a game of indoor lawn darts in the 1st floor activity room.

Wednesday October 11th- Bill Speer will be in for an Oktoberfest sing-a-long at 2:00 in the dining room.

Thursday October 12- We will be having chocolate therapy! We will be making a fall themed chocolate treat! Country Boys will be performing at 6:30.

Friday October 13- Join us for Tim Horton’s Coffee and donuts in the 3rd Floor Cafe followed by “Anything Can Happen” and Dog Visits from our Canine friends!
